Great resources for Holiday Gift Sewing

Now that Halloween is behind us, I realize that it’s time to get cracking on a list of presents that I want to make for my loved ones this holiday season! Because I KNOW I am not alone with this, I thought I’d mention a couple of what I think are really helpful tools in the gift making department! First off is my e-book Create Handmade Gifts for All:

Handmade-Gifts-Cover

It’s a compilation of 18 of my patterns that have been published in different Quilting Arts Magazines over the years are all together in one handy E-book! Everything in there would make a great gift, and as an added bonus I wrote up the pattern for my cute little bird ornaments!

I must admit, I feel pretty proud of this! I really do love designing fun things to make with fabric, it gives me such a thrill to see them shared with the readers of Quilting Arts Magazine!

Another fun thing I’m part of is a new online class over at Craft University called “Quilting Holiday Projects“:

I’m one of 6 different instructors teaching how to make a fun holiday project, click here to read all about the class!

I’m headed to Massachusetts this weekend for my nephew’s wedding (he was a BABY at my wedding, how did THAT happen?) so I’ll be able to visit with my nieces and find out what they’re into right now; hopefully this will give me some insight into what I’ll make them for Christmas!

  1. Just LOVE the messenger bag from Candy’s pattern. On my third one now. Large is a great computer bag. And her directions are very clear and easy to follow! Headbands are fun too. My hubby loves the cell phone pouch. YES, I”m a Candy fan!
