Tutorial | Dyeing Primary Tints

I had a lot of fun writing up a beginning fabric dyeing tutorial for the folks at Sew Mama Sew, it covers probably the first type of dyeing a beginning dyer should do…making tints of a primary color.

I had  lot of fun folding, stacking and snapping pix of the finished product:

But I ALSO got to make something that’s been ticking away in my little head for a couple of years now, a fabric basket:

Head on over to check it out, but before you do, look:

it’s a quilter’s Easter basket!

  1. Just saw you on Quilting arts and found the ice dying really interesting. Going to get a bunch of it from the ice rink and try and have some fun. Thanks sew much from Nova Scotia, Canada
