Snapshots from our Easter

easter eggs in fabric basketHow was your Easter? We had a great day yesterday!

(Edit: Before I forget, my giveaway ends tonight – head over to enter if you haven’t yet!)

For the first time in forever, Andrew did NOT have a Sunday morning Easter gig (even churches feel the economic downturn!).

So he got to SEE the kids participate in my Easter family tradition – which is a spiderweb of string leading to the kids baskets.

Logan leaves the Easter Bunny a card, so the Easter Bunny also leaves him a special egg with a golden dollar in it:

Poor Stirling had to wait awhile to go out for his morning ablutions! But not to fear, the Easter Bunny remembers Stirling too in the 2nd part of our celebration, where the kids hunt eggs outside (which is Andrew’s family tradition).

We then had some friends over for dinner. Maren is 2 and a half, so Logan decided he’d set up an easy hunt for her. He was a good sport about helping her find them!

Yep, Maren’s wearing the shirt I made for her (it was too chilly for the dress). Then we all sat down to a wonderful meal!

  1. Loved seeing all the pictures – Logan is quite the handsome one, isn’t he, and Liam is so BIG now! They grow too fast!
