Getting to Know You

I have really been thinking about blogging lately. One of my New Year’s “Inclinations” is to communicate my art. I’ve found it incredibly useful to blog about the how, what, and why I make what I make. I am finding that the more I blog about what I do,  the more I understand why. What drew me into blogs in the first place was my quest for understanding WHY artists did what they did. It excites me no end that I have found a path to understanding creation right here in this screen!

As I continue to try to make this blog a place of beauty and interestingness, I find myself wondering about you, dear reader. A lot of you don’t comment, and some of those who DO comment don’t have blogs for me to visit, so I don’t know who you are. So, I would love it if you could take a minute and answer 6 questions that will help me get a handle on who you are, what interests you here, and if there’s anything you’d like to see more of

Click here to take my 6 question, 1 minute survey

Thanks so much for clicking over – I can’t wait to see what you all think!

(Dear Lord, please let someone take this survey so I don’t feel like a total dork).

And because no post is complete without a picture, here’s one of me in my studio!

  1. I just took your survey. One of the things I like about your site is that it reflects the life of an artist who is also a teacher, who is also a mom and a wife. I could also say it reflects the life of a mom who is also a artist.(You get the idea) The balance of work, fun and family and art is real. I hope you continue, and only change when it is right for you and not the whims of the blogdom.
