Summer is here!!!! My May Term class “Mother Earth Chemistry” is over, here’s my class after their final presentations:
Everyone has to dye two pieces as part of their final project. I had lots of folk interested in indigo dyeing this year and then did some fabulous work. That ombre skirt on the right is FABULOUS!
Let’s get the party started and make some serious plans! First lets see how much I got done in May

I am sad I didn’t get the Wonky Rainbow Triangle Wall Quilt done, but am pretty happy with my production for filling my booth with art at the show last weekend!
Hubby and I have some home dec plans for June: painting the living room and our bedroom! The living room is a doozy, that slanted ceiling goes all the way up to the second floor so we’ve got our work cut out for us:
Hubby has already replaced those suspended lights above the window with 3 in ceiling lights, and I do believe I’ve found the right paint color (Benjamin Moore’s “Classic Grey”), a warm, light greige that will contrast against a white ceiling and woodwork. It’s lighter than the sandy color that’s on there now, this huge North-facing room gets the least amount of light. While we have the painting gear out, we’ll also update our bedroom, probably the same color, so I really do need to get going on curtains for that room now!
Hubby and Liam are headed to Minnesota for a week for a fishing trip, I’ll use this time to get started teaching my next FMQ class as well as write up my Wonky Tree Quilt pattern (and add a hanging sleeve to the back of it for photography!)

Speaking of classes, my FMQ Club ended in May, here are some of my happy students with some seriously awesome quilted pillows etc…
Ok, I’ve got a plan, and I’m starting to get started on catching up on my sleep too! Onward!
