I dyed a set of silk scarves and ties in a custom color way for a wedding party over a year ago. Here’s a peek at some of the scarves (more details here).
They got married last March and got me a few pictures early this Fall, and I’ve finally remembered to show the final results:
Everyone in the wedding party received a scarf or tie in the same colorway, and each person then put together an outfit in their own style that complemented the scarf colors. What a wonderful way to make a harmonious group of people!

I also dyed a piece of silk that the groom had made into a vest. And the bride had a second dress, just for dancing, and wore one of the scarves as a belt. Do they not look like the happiest two people on earth?
It was truly an honor to be part of this beautiful day!
