Meetup | December 2011 Goals

Hello Hello! I’ve been having a lot of fun with my DVD blog tour, but phew! Adding this to everything else on the plate and my time to read blogs has just vanished into thin air! But I know how many makers are working their fingers to the bone, and rejoicing in the fact that I don’t have any BIG show in December.

I am, however, participating in a Holiday Studio Tour my artist friend Aida Schneider and I cooked up! I designed the postcard and got it printed last month, and she’s been drumming up publicity, here’s a nice article in the Riverside Press Enterprise. If you’re on my email newsletter, you got a mailing about it earlier this week, but I’ll share the postcard here too as well:

Pretty Snazzy, if I do say so myself! (The website with more info is here).

Anyway, here’s how I did in November:

November Goals

Laine’s Website: Waiting for her soon 99%
Private Dyeing Lesson Nov. 28 100%

So right now, I am focused on getting the house all decorated for the tour, but BONUS, this also means the house is decorated for Christmas! I’m going to try to get some more everyday art to sell at the tour. Once the tour is over, I can switch to making Christmas presents, and officially give myself a break from making to sell and just make to develop a small fraction of the things that are whirling in my brain!

  1. I have watched your video now three times and simply must do some dyeing of my own!. The process produces marvelous results and I am so impressed with the consistency and quality of your work with color. The DVD looks like a must own for me.

  2. I thought you would be having some down time this month – good luck with the studio tour – I’m looking forward to it.

  3. Yay for getting the house decorated Candy! And my biggest hoeps for you this month are that you are hugely successful in all your endeavors, AND you have some time just to make things that make you happy.
