Liam was gone for two weeks at music camp right before school started, we got to see him play 3 times, he played a solo in the student recital:
and two band concerts too:
He had not one, but two great teachers who are really happy with his playing and were very encouraging. They put on a low brass concert too, there’s a great rendition of 20 trombones playing “Sir Duke” posted on my Facebook page, I can’t embed it here as it’s a facebook video.
My moment? He connected with the teachers and had a great time playing almost constantly – just what music camp should be!
alamodestuff Linda has started a weekly meetup based on taking a moment each week to really notice something as you go about your daily grind life. I need to do this. You may want to too – read more about it here:

Those teacher connections are so important. I’m glad he had a great time (which makes learning fun and easy). You must be proud of him! He is so talented.
BTW, I notice he’s getting taller than Dad.
What a wonderful way to spend the last couple of weeks of summer vacation!
You must be very proud of him – justifiably so!
