I’m officially over-committed this Spring. I’ve wanted to expand my business by adding teaching and more writing to my roster, and still continue with the local shows I’ve been doing for the past years. Plus all my Mom stuff, wife stuff and the day job. Oh, and an order for 96 scarves! Obviously, something had to give, so I’ve backed out of the Orange Muffin Festival. 🙁
One nice thing – we’ll go and eat those most deelicious muffins and juice, without me having to set up shop!
The Gunther Schuller symposium my hubby was running this week was a smashing success, here are a couple of pix of the composer with the “Madrigals” choir:
Yep, they’re wearing Candied Fabrics scarves – my Madrigals color palette was created for this group about 4 years ago.
alamodestuff Linda has started a weekly meetup based on taking a moment each week to really notice something as you go about your daily grind life. I need to do this. You may want to too – read more about it here:

Good for you on knowing where to draw the line, Candy. It’s always easier to say yes, isn’t it? The group looks lovely with their scarves!
I’ve been drawing lines a lot lately. Truth be told, I’m loving it. My life is slowly balancing out more. Sometimes it feels like the bottom will drop out but it never does. Keep being true to yourself.
Love the group in your scarves!!!
