Today was glorious dyeing weather! 72 degrees and sunny, a perfect way to start my week of dyeing!
Today, I dyed a bunch of tote bags to turn into some of my Going Green Totes. I dyed 6 colors: plum, dark peacock, gold, chartreuse, light green and light blue. Each of those big containers holds 6 tote bags, and I dyed a yard of fabric as well:
I wonder how many scarves I can dye tomorrow? I made this palette for a little fun – I’m gonna go add this post to the River Dog Prints’ “Collecting Color” meetup.

Love those colors!!! Are those bags going to be for sale when they’re done?!?!?!?
Hey Leslie!
Yes…but I don’t usually get them up for sale online, taking good pix of these bags is really hard! I do always try to get some sort of group pictures of them and post them on a blog as a way for me to keep track – when I do that and you see one that you’d like a better picture of, just email me/leave a comment! 🙂
Thanks so much for your interest!
What a great day and a pretty palette! I can use some new shopping bags and yours would make me happy to tote.
Thanks Cyn!
oh, i’m so jealous! i feel like 72 degrees is so far away yet. i’m still hauling my dyeing projects down to the basement by the woodstove, because that’s the only place warm enough. can’t wait for spring to arrive here.
i love these colors!
What a mouth-watering palette!
That’s a lovely palette!
