April Goals Meetup

Well, that month just flew by! I didn’t actually get much else on the list done but I did get some dyeing experiments done and a big guest blog post written about it. I have plans for some of this fabric beyond just making it…

I also wrote about “Making it Work” which took a bit of time, but I got some great feedback, so hopefully people found it helpful!

I’m a little late with this month’s post because I was hoping to be able to share some good news, and I CAN! BOTH my magazine submission queries I sent off in late January were accepted – I’ll be writing 2 magazine articles in the next 2 months! WOOT!

So I’ve got to put my nose to the grindstone, shows are coming up, finals are approaching, I’ve got deadlines galore! Often times my list has things that I’d like to get done…this month I’m gonna focus on things that HAVE to get done and cut those extras in hopes that I can keep focused. (The rest of my life is in complete upheaval right now…I’ll share if/when I can.)

Lots of 0% up there…wish me luck! I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…the support I get from you all is encouraging to reach for things I never would have thought possible (like magazine articles! Woot!) Thank you so much for reading and cheering me on, you help make it possible! And, since no post is complete without a picture, here are some closeups of my favorite bits from “faux snow” dyeing:
