Light at the End of the Tunnel

Hello There!

I’m so close to the end of the school year, and all the Spring shows are finished – there’s a light at the end of the tunnel…and summer vacation is zooming up faster than I can realize!

I’ve been listing my goals of things I want to accomplish in my little world of art, ( participating in the Modish Biz Tips monthly goal meet-up) and this is really helpful! I’ve had such a tremendous let-down of energy this week, that I couldn’t even think about steeping into the studio to make something. So I’m now in a zone I’ve been in before…the zone of “Oh! Finally some free time! I don’t know what to do!!!!!” Usually this zone is a depressing one, because I want to fill the space with so many things that I can’t get started on anything, and I piddle those moments away! BUT, now, because I’ve been piling up those goals, I can now just take a look at them and start working away at them! Who knew that having a list of to-do’s is just as important when you have MORE time as when you have LESS time! Phew!

I’ve added some long term business side goals to the list, and some of the goals are a bit vague, but I’m hoping listing all the things I’d LIKE to accomplish (well, in my art business world…I have some decorating, house cleaning goals as well…) will help me recover from a creativity slump faster!

Here’s how time flies –

  1. cute baby pics! the baby ones don’t look like they were taken 7 years ago! my baby pics look a looot older, but i guess we didn’t have digital photos back then 🙂

i can’t recall if i already told you about this website: gubb.net. i use it to keep track of all my lists, and believe me, i have TONS! ranging from grocery shopping, to crafts shopping, to craft ideas, to books i want to read, movies i want to watch, recipes recommended by others, etc. it’s a free service and it’s super handy. check it out! you can add due dates, priorities and all that good stuff, and i use it a lot with my iphone, though you can also text and email to it. your list just reminded me of the site, so i wanted to let you know about it in case you didn’t already. good luck with all that stuff!

  2. You are so organized….can you make a list for me? LOL! Look at that darling boy – I have pics like that of my two boys – who are now TEENS, yikes! Happy Birthday, Birthday Boy!!!!

  3. aahhh!!! Logan!! Happy birthday!!! LOVE the baby pics!!! Soooo cute! I wish Max would have eaten his cake.
