Guest Post at Sew Mama Sew | Customer Interaction at Art/Craft Fairs

The folks at Sew, Mama, Sew have asked me to right about interacting with customers at Art & Craft Fairs…and imagine that, I had a lot to say! 😉

Head on over to read my thoughts on how to interact with potential customers during a festival!

  1. Wonderful post – you make me want to do a craft show (though I’d probably have to stop giving everything I make away so that I’d have some inventory!) Some day…
Also, I wanted to say that I think you’ve applied the same skills to your blog…I bought scarves for my wedding for you not just because I knew they’d be beautiful and unique, but because I genuinely like you and feel connected to you! That’s a big part of the fun of buying art, right?!?

  2. Candy, that was an absolutely fabulous post, I really enjoyed reading it! I find myself in a new position as a craftsperson, I am now being paid to teach knitting classes and the customers are paying quite a hefty price for them (not to me, to the shop owners) so I really have to think about every aspect of my craft in a whole new light! Just as you did, and continue to do! Thanks again for sharing, it was a great read!
