Tadah! I’ve got 8 new bags ready for the show this weekend, in a new design I worked up the past couple weeks. They are 7.5″ wide by 9″ tall, all of them are made from indigo dyed cotton sateen, which patterns nicely with a wee bit of sheen. 4 of them have glue resist designs inspired by mudcloth:
I did some simple line quilting to emphasize the designs.
On the back is a pocket for easy access to a cell phone:
The other four I free motion machine sketched either a bird or a plant (indigo and lupine) on top of shibori patterned fabric:
Now I’ve got to make some tags and get them packed up!
