I’ve been mentioning a couple of mystery projects for the last several months…and today I can reveal one of them!
18 of my patterns that have been published in different Quilting Arts Magazines over the years are all together in one handy E-book! It’s called “Create Handmade Gifts for All” and isย available to purchase right now on the Interweave Store.
Everything in there would make a great gift, and as an added bonus I wrote up the pattern for my cute little bird ornaments!
I must admit, I feel pretty proud of this! I really do love designing fun things to make with fabric, it gives me such a thrill to see them shared with the readers of Quilting Arts Magazine!
Here’s the table of contents, so you can see what’s in there (click to enlarge):
I love, love, LOVE how they staged my bird ornaments – on a cool viney wreath! The photographers and stylists who work for Interweave are such amazing pros, they add a whole other level of coolness to my work. For example, my original vision for my holiday row houses was on a mantle like this:
with lights behind it like this:
But after I saw how they styled them with white paper trees in the magazine:
I now decorate my house like this during the holidays:
Yep, I love snagging their awesome ideas and using them for my own! (I also LOVE my fireplace painted white, wahoo!!!) I’m quite excited about this, head on over to take a look!

Got my copy today! Thanks Candy for getting all of these cool patterns into once place.
You are most welcome Laine! Thanks! I’m excited for myself, since these are patterns of things I make once in awhile. Instead of having to search through my computer for each pattern draft that I sent them, I get the finished one all pretty! ๐
Congratulations this looks like a book full of some great projects.
