February! You started with more rain, thank you we need it so!!!
Last week Liam was out here briefly: we picked him up at the airport late on Thursday, Andrew drove him into LA on Friday so he could audition for grad school at UCLA, Saturday I took him into Pasadena so he could have a lesson with the teacher at UCLA (Jim Miller, Associate Principal Trombone of the LA Phil), we got a fun lunch at a noodle place and I snapped my only picture of the weekend:
I was up early Sunday morning to take him to the airport so he could audition for San Francisco Conservatory on Monday, then he flew to Houston to audition for Rice University on Tuesday! Phew! 2 more auditions to go!
Well, I’ve made a bit of progress in the making department:

The decorating of the newly painted living room continues slowly, I’m almost done quilting the 5 pillows I’m making for it. Most awesomely, hubby has made this beautiful maple and cherry coffee table for it:
As soon as the pillows are done I’ll take some nice pix with the good camera!!!

Hi. I just chanced upon your site. I too love color and will be visiting your site for inspiration. I do so wish that it said somewhere on your site just where your store is. It’s such a tease to see all the fabulous free motion quilting classes and not know just how far away they are from where I live.
