January Goals

Well, I’m a bit late with my goals post, and I may be skipping the whole “year in review” post as I just don’t have the time right now! Once I got Elmer done and Christmas was over, I’ve been balancing doing things with the boys over vacation, working on my dossier/eself evaluation for a big review I have for the day job, and doing a huge purge, clean and paint of the studio.

Things looked like this 10 days ago, while I cleaned and organized those drawers: 

Once those were done, there were days of painting and steam cleaning the bamboo floor:

I went to Ikea for some new ceiling mounted curtain track and bought some cool fabric for new curtains for my closet:

Thank goodness everything is now clean and organized! But before I can share pretty pix, lets take a look at what I got done and what I’ve got on my plate for January:

December Goals

Well I got everything that was promised to people done! Although I sent sketches for the baby quilt to my customers Steve and Lillian before the holidays, I haven’t yet heard from them, so that’s on hold. I didn’t get any fun sewing done, which is something that I MUST make more room for. The one thing I feel bad about not getting done was the pattern for my FMQ club. Ultimately they don’t need it until a week from Tuesday so it’s gotta get done by then, and it will! Let’s see what I think I can get done the rest of this month:

January Goals

 We took Liam to the airport yesterday, he’s off for semester 6 at Vanderbilt!!! 

My review dossier is just about done, the lab manuals and syllabi are all updated so I’m ready to go for classes that start tomorrow! Onward!
