Here are pix of the scarves and tees I dyed last weekend after they were washed and dried. I love to take pictures of indigo dyed fabric as it’s hanging wet on the line finishing up the oxidation process, but it’s unfair for that to be the only image people see of it, because the color is always more intense when the fabric is wet, plus some of the indigo washes off during the initial washing. So here’s what they really look like!
And here are my new tees, I can’t wait to wear them!
I’m a bit disappointed with the tee on the left, I wanted it to have 3 distinct values of the indigo. But I LOVE this arashi shibori tank:
And yes, it WAS a lot of work to wrap that! 😉
