Aiyiyi! I awoke last Thursday to a sore throat, and it’s developed into a nasty cold with wicked head congestion and a crappy cough!!!! Whether I wanted to or not, I had to board a plane last Thursday and fly to Nashville to help Liam pack and return home from his Sophomore Year at Vanderbilt!!! We returned to Redlands late Saturday night and I spent Sunday trying to fight the cold off:
to no avail! I started teaching my intensive Mother Earth Chemistry class Monday and I’ve made it, barely, through the first week! Now I’ve gotta figure out what I’ve need to keep going on for my art this month:

I can’t believe it, but I’ve got all the re-stock silk scarves dyed, ironed and packed, wahoo! I’ve also got the fabric dyed for all 3 of the articles I’ll be writing for Quilting Arts. If I focus only on show prep and the article due May 20, I do believe that I can complete what I want to complete for the Festival of the Arts in late May!
I’m subdividing the list so that I can focus on what absolutely has to get done during Mayterm, those little spaces allow me to prioritize but yet not forget about all the things I’ve been pushing off…for months….

But for now, it’s Thursday night, I’m caught up on grading until tomorrow morning at 9am so I’m gonna kick back and read Lynn Krawczyk’s new book that just came in the mail!
