It’s Giveaway Day over at Sew Mama Sew! (Actually, it’s all week long, with all sorts of bloggers having a giveaway on the same week!) so I’m participating by giveing away one of my scarves to one lucky commenter.

I’ve had 3 big art shows this Fall, and at every show, many of my customers, both new and returning, are buying one (or more) of my  hand dyed silk scarves as a gift! Here’s a picture of my booth from one of my shows this Fall:

They really enjoy spending the time finding just the right color combination and dye patterning to fit their recipient. I enjoy learning a bit about the recipient while I help, looking through the scarves to find just the right one:

How can you enter?

Just take a peek at my scarf color palettes and then leave me a comment on this post telling me which one is your favorite…or, is there a certain color combination that you’d like to see that isn’t there? I’m always looking for new color ideas, let me know! (Comment moderation is on, so don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up right away, I’ve got to approve it first!) I will ship internationally.

When does it end?

Sew Mama Sew has put together a huge list of blogs hosting giveaways this week, if you’ve got some time, head on over and enter some more! They all end this Friday, December 12, at 5 pm Pacific, so you’ve got a few days to tour around and enter a bunch!

I’ll use random.org to choose a winner, email the winner over the weekend and I’ll send the winner’s choice of habotai scarf out a week from today so you can be wearing it soon! Or, if you like, I can send it to a lucky person on your holiday gift list!

  9. Its so hard to choose a favourite! I love crocus, sunset and moonlit moth the most. Theyre all stunning.

  14. Love the moonlit moth, I also like the black orchid. I wear a lot of brown and purple, so that combination would be really pretty too.

  16. There are so many beautiful colour combinations. I love the bright summer colours, but if I were to choose one to wear myself it would be Moonlit Moth. It’s just gorgeous! Thanks for the chance to win!

  18. I’m missing scarfs that do not contain the pastel-palette… most of the olours fade at some point into the pastel/pale which is why I can’t really pick any of the pallettes as a “favourite” …

  23. Ocean surf wins my vote – but only by a narrow margin. They are all lovely and I know someone who would love each and every colour!

  25. I love your scarves so much! I;m having trouble choosing between Breath of Spring, Ocean Surf, and Earth and Sky, but I think the last is my favorite.

  37. Lunar Eclipse is my current favorite! Two colors I would like to see worked together are two I can hardly ever find: the living scarlet of maple leaves & the greyblue slate found in Autumn-almost-Winter skies.

  38. I like Ocean Surf, Sunset and Earth and Sky. All your scarves are beautiful, but these 3 would work best with my wardrobe.

  39. I love the scarves with dark grey. I’d love to see one with light blue-violet mixed with dark grey, like a summer storm. 🙂

  40. I love them all but Gerberadaisy would look better on me as I am a bit pale. Have you thought of making one is fuchsia and purple? I love both those colours.

  49. I think I like kelp the best. What I didn’t see was a jewel tones one. I think those colors are supposed to be flattering on a lot of people.

  53. I’m loving the orange and pink together. Another color combination you could do would be grey and yellow, that’s very popular right now. Navy blue and white would be nice too. cdahlgren at live dot com

  93. I love the “Ocean Surf” colors. I’d love to see one with various shades of blue and touches of white. Blue is my favorite color! Oh! Blue and pink would make me pretty happy too!
