I received a couple complimentary copies of International Quilt Festival Quilt Scene 13/14 because my organizer baskets pattern is in it!
I designed them to fit on an Ikea Fintorp hanging rail, but I absolutely LOVE how they styled them in the magazine! It gives me an idea to make more for my studio! (I’ll put in on the list!)
It is so fun to see the work of several artists I’ve met while taping Quilting Arts TV or over the internet! Here’s Sue Bleiweiss’s fun flower pillow:
Susan Brubaker Knapp wrote a pattern for these really clever passport covers:
And here’s Jamie Fingal with her new line of fabric!
So, I’d like to share a copy of this magazine with one lucky commentor!
How do you enter? Simple:
- I’ve never been to the Houston Quilt Festival (this magazine is published in conjuction with the festival) and would love to go some time, so if you’d like to win, just comment on this post and let me know if you’ve ever gone, or if you’re like me and would like to go or…anything else! 🙂
- Subscribe to my newsletter, there’s an entry form at the top of my sidebar and leave another comment…and if you already subscribe, just tell me in another comment.
Don’t worry if your comments don’t show up immediately, I have to approve them!
When does the giveaway end?
- I’ll use good old Random.org to choose a winner Sunday night, October 20 at 9 pm Pacific and announce the winner here the following day

I have never been to the Houston Show, but I am going to take classes at the Road to California in January!! I met a quilter though my blog who has invited me to go stay with her and we signed up for a weeks worth of classes! She is here in Canada now and we are actually meeting tomorrow for the first time. I told her it feels like a blind date! lol Boy, I hope she likes me or she may regret that invitation!! Quilters are such great people…..
