Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day | For the Love of Color!

Wahoo! Giveaway Day is here! The awesome folks at Sew Mama Sew coordinate a massive effort of blogging sewists who host a giveaway at their blog on the same time, placing links to all the giveaways in one place. As a fabric dyer who can dye anything she wants, I found that this prospect of endless possibility can stymie me. For me, the answer to this has been to choose a palette of colors, and really spend my time working with them in different pieces that I make. For the past couple of years, a lot of my work has been done using my Jewel Tones palette:

This Fall I started working on a new palette I’m calling Autumn Splendor. I’m still tweaking the hues a bit, but I think they are gorgeous:

What better way to share my love of color than to give one lucky commenter set of fat quarters in the palette of their choice, along with a piece of multi-color fabric in those same hues?

  15. While I prefer the Jewel tones, I think I would like to win the Autumn palette because I think the muted colors would coordinate with more patterns. I’m still working on building my fabric stash!
