My first commission for a custom group of silk scarves was for the “Madrigals” choir at the University of Redlands 5 years ago:
I was contacted by a women’s choir from Northern California a few months ago, they commissioned a set of scarves in purple and a yellow green. I dyed the first trial over the weekend and am very happy with how it came out. Where the green meets the purple there is a really cool intermingling of the two colors (I worried a bit about what would happen, as there are all 3 primary colors when the two meet, which can sometimes created not so pretty colors).
I sent these pictures to the choir and they love it! Now I have to dye 20 more! 🙂

This is beautiful! Do you like dyeing silk better than cotton?
