September was a WHIRLWIND! Packing up and returning from Cleveland after taping 2 episodes of QATV and my Workshop DVD, the start of classes at my day job, Andrew’s Dad’s funeral, and then, an email that says the DVD’s are ready for production, and thus bloggable. PHEW!
My moment this week was a complete surprise: being able to share my secret long before I thought I would. I’ve grown so used to sharing the ups and downs and all sorts of details of my artistic life (and the rest of my life too!) that it was very hard to not share the progress on this DVD. (I sorta did, in a way…whenever I wrote “Dye, Dye, DYE” in a goal list, I was referring to dyeing scarves AND fabric in preparation for the DVD).
Taking a look at what I did through the eyes of my blog readers and facebook friends:
