I have not been saying anything about how wonderful the weather has been here in Redlands this summer, for fear of jinxing it. I knew it wouldn’t last – today we had more “typical” summer weather…it got up to 116 in my back yard this afternoon. Seriously, it was crazy hot! We’ve got some brownish patches in hte lawn that are totally turning into cinders, I’m hoping the rinse water from the fabric I dyed today will help!

Holy cow that IS hot – shall I send you some of our cooler breezes?
with it being that hot, you can say that your grass is either dying or dyeing, and either will be correct!
Yowza. No humidity, right?! How to you get rid of the dyed water?
maybe you’ll get a colorful lawn when it comes back!
ours kind of died this summer too, parts of it.
