Leaving town for a few days takes so much work!!!! I had to get a ton of grading done, and work ahead on assignments etc. so that I can not think about school while I’m in Nashville for Liam’s Junior Recital! I also needed to have the next FMQ Club pattern printed and ready to go the day after I return, so I was able to get that totally crossed off the list hooray! Now I’ve got to start thinking about Spring Shows, and add that prep to the list:

There’s a ton of stuff on the top of that list – it’s everything that I’m thinking I want to have made for the big show I do in May. Then of course there’s all the other stuff I WANT to make, but the time to do so has been scarce! But I like keeping it on the list so I remember that I want to make them!
A couple weeks ago, I took some time to dye some twill in some of my Autumn Splendor Colors – it was a gamble as it was white twill purchased from JoAnn’s 12 years ago and used for curtains in my sewing room. When I cleaned and painted the studio over Christmas break, I made some new curtains:
I washed the old twill curtains and then thought, why not dye them? Voila!
Perhaps I’ll use this to make some bags????!!!! Stay tuned!
