Show Report | Art in the Park 2014

Well, we lucked out and had pretty good weather last weekend! I set up on the sidewalk by the street right next to my friends Liz and Adele:

Although we had lots of foot traffic, sometimes it was tough to talk to folks outside the booth because people couldn’t walk around us on the sidewalk because of the whole street thing, so note to future self: move back to inside the park!

However it got windy towards the end of the day and I had to pull the sides down. The next day we left 2 of them down, the one behind the scarves had to go up so the quilts could be seen from the outside. It worked better, the scarves didn’t get blown around so much.

Phew! It was a crazy run up to this show, and I had lots of sales, so it was all worth it…but man, I’m looking forward to a break!
