Thanksgiving week has come and gone in a flash!!!
Liam was able to come home from Vanderbilt for a whole week – Logan and I picked him up from the airport last Saturday and headed straight to one of our favorite restaurants nearby to celebrate – the fry their french fries in duck fat and they’re magnificent!
The week was busy – beyond prepping for Thanksgiving, Liam had a lot of recordings to make for competitions and grad school pre-screenings, and Logan was making another film for his portfolio, college applications are due soon!
But indeed, a lot of pie was made!
I had a lot of fun instagramming each pie as it came out of the oven the day before:
Friends of ours hosted the main event this year, hubby made the turkey, stuffing and gravy and we headed over to Ann and Piers’s house:
Later that day we had about 14 people over to eat the pie!!!
Of course, not a picture was taken, I was too busy serving and then eating the pie!!! Truly a day to be thankful for!

That is a lot of pie! BUT they look great and I”m sure tasted great! Always fun to have kids home isn’t it!
