I’ve been working on a large improv pillow, I wanted to have something to show the ladies in my Free Motion Machine Sketching class how to sketch on a quilt. So this improv cabin with lots of negative space was the perfect space for some funky allium flowers:
The pillow form I have is a 24″ knife edge, but I wanted to turn it into a box edge, so I trimmed the front and back to 23″, stitched them together with a 1/2″ seam allowance and boxed the corners at 1.5″, resulting in a nice, plump, 19″ pillow.
I absolutely LOVE it!
