We’ve been having absolutely incredible weather: a cool long morning, followed by bright sunny afternoons in the mid-80’s, absolutely PERFECT for dyeing! I’ve been taking advantage of this by working on my newest class, Dyeing 100: an Introduction to Dyeing with Fiber Reactive Dyes. It’s been awhile since I’ve set up my camera on the patio to film me dyeing and babbling; it felt great to get back in the saddle!
Unlike when I built my other classes, I’m planning to have all the content ready to go before launching the class. This class is much shorter and simpler, requiring a lot less time and materials commitment than Dyeing 101 & 102, for folks that aren’t quite sure how far they want to dip their toes into the colorful waters of dyeing!
Therefor, having the class completed before registering anyone will ensure than someone who gets all excited about it can charge in and dye up a storm. (All my classes are self-paced with no expiration date, so people can go just as fast or slow as THEY want.)
While dyeing up these beginner’s exercises, I had to stop and share some pix on my Instagram feed, because it never fails…the colors involved in every step of the process are just so amazing, I had to share them! Look at this gorgeousness that fell out of the dryer:
Ahhhhhhhh! Lovely!!!!!
If you’re interested in this class, most definitely sign up to hear about the launch in the form at the top of my sidebar…I always launch a class with a hefty discount for early birds!!!! I’m also sponsoring the art quilt category of the Blogger’s Quilt Festival, the winner will receive registration in Dyeing 100!
Here’s one last pretty picture:
